FRM Modified Asphalt Concrete

Overview

FRM modified asphalt concrete is a product in which the PG is improved by adding modifiers to the normal asphalt concrete.
PG is classified based on traffic volume into 70-22-34, 76-22-34, and 82-22-34.
Maximum aggregate sizes of 19mm, 13mm, 10mm, and 8mm for 5cm of paving thickness, and 6mm for 2.5cm of thin-layer paving are recommendable.
Additive quantity of use by PG (per ton of asphalt concrete)
70-22 : 3kg, 76-22 : 4kg, 82-22 : 8.5kg

Enhancement of adhesive strength
Increase of resistance to plastic deformation during the summer season
Prevention of low-temperature cracking during the winter season
Thin-layer paving is suitable for the repair of aged asphalt pavements and the overlay for the top layer of cement pavements.
Increase of durability of road pavements
Applicable for surface layers of bridges (PG82-28)
